Mr. Frank J. Ewasyshyn was appointed Executive Vice President – Manufacturing for Daimler-Chrysler Corporation in May 2004. Prior to this position, he was the Senior Vice President – Advanced Manufacturing Engineering for Daimler-Chrysler Corporation. In his current position, he is responsible for all assembly, stamping, and power train manufacturing operations, totaling over thirty facilities worldwide.

Mr. Ewasyshyn earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada in 1974 and 1976, respectively. He also received his M.B.A. degree from the University of Windsor in 1989. He joined Chrysler Corporation in 1976 as a Maintenance Foreman. Shortly after, he served in various manufacturing management and planning positions. He was promoted to Corporate Launch Manager in 1985, Production Manager in Windsor Assembly Plant in 1986, Production Manager in Bramalea Assembly Plant in 1987. In 1988, he was promoted to Director, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. In 1991, he became the General Manager for Large and Small Car Platform Assembly. He was appointed as Vice President for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Chrysler Corporation.

Mr. Ewasyshyn is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, Engineering Society of Detroit, and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada.  He was conferred an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Windsor in 2001.

Mr. Ewasyshyn was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1952.
